DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

We offer various development programmes such as Apprenticeship, Learnerships [Production Technology Learnership - 7 months; PWD Progression Learnership - 1 to 4 yrs].

Our programmes deliver exceptional training and a chance for you to work on real life challenges alongside industry experts. 
During your time with us, you will be given training to sharpen and enhance your skills, while receiving regular feedback on how you are progressing.

By training in the “Toyota Technical Centre”, you will learn from highly experienced facilitators in areas such as welding, machining and electronics. You will also spend time in the classroom to learn the supporting theory.

Apprenticeship Programme

Become part of the Toyota family by joining the Apprenticeship Programme. 
We provide training in the following trades: Tool, Jig & Die, Millwright and Fitter & Turner, Motor Mechanic and Auto Electrician. Apprentices are trained to become a competent Artisan at the completion of the 4 year program.

What we look for?

Technical Matric or NTC3, with Maths, Science, Technical Drawing, Graphical Design, Electrical or Mechanical trade , workshop experience in trade related discipline will be advantageous.

Qualifying Apprentice will be able to:

  • Install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery in production and construction environments.
  • On successful completion you will obtain a NQF 4 Trade Test National Certificate.

Production Technology Learnership

Become part of the Toyota family by joining the Production Learnership Programme. Gain exposure in technical skills to achieve competence in the Automotive Components Manufacturing Assembly National Certificate.

What we look for?

Technical Matric with the following Subjects:
Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD), Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR N3-N6 Electrical, Mechanical or Fitting & Turning.

Qualifying Learners will be able to:

  • Operate and Monitor Machinery in the manufacturing environments. 
  • Assemble components in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.  
  • Understanding of occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standards in the workplace, Communication Skills & Statistics.
  • On successful completion you will obtain a NQF2 National Certificate.

Apprenticeship Programme
