Apprentice Maintenance

PURPOSE:

• This is an Apprenticeship Programme where incumbents will be trained in the following trades, Tool, Jig & Die Maker/ Millwright and Auto Electrician disciplines.
• The incumbent will be placed in an hourly position for the duration of the programme.
• Permanent placement is not guaranteed at the end of the programme – all placements are vacancy driven.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Tool, Jig, and Die Maker Trade

• NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Technical drawing, and Tool making trade Theory or Technical Matric with Maths, Physical Science, Graphic Design and Mechanical trade.
• Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).

Millwright

• NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Electrical trade theory/Mechanical trade theory or Technical matric with Maths, Physical Science, Graphic Design, and Mechanical trade.
• Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).

Auto Electrician

• NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Auto Electrical trade theory, Electronics trade theory or Technical Matric with Maths, Physical Science, Auto Electrical trade Theory, Graphic Design.
• Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
