KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Perform Electrical / Mechanical maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Maintenance, Fault finding & Repairs on PLC, Motors, Hoists, Conveyors (floor & overhead), DB’s, Lights, Fans, Spray systems, Lifters, rollers, ovens, hangers (carriers), pumps, paint systems, pneumatics, hydraulics & all plant facility equipment.
- Servicing & repairs of Paint equipment, Pneumatic Pumps & Motors,
- Participation in machine & facility upgrade projects
- Perform legal compliance checks. Maintain quality standards & work in accordance with ISO standards.
- TPM’s & RCA on all plant facility
- Attend to equipment breakdowns.
- Production support
- Implementation of Kaizens and Cost reductions
- Standby responsibility, start-up and switch off responsibility, and weekend duty.
- Quality problem investigation and countermeasure
- MTTR and MTBF improvement
- Quality circle’s participation
- Squad Kaizens
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- N3 + Trade tested, (MILLWRIGHT).
- Minimum 2 - 4 years post apprenticeship experience in manufacturing environment (preferable).
- Experience in pneumatics, electro-pneumatics & hydraulics
- PLC’s and Robotics experience would be an advantage
- Must be prepared to work both day & night shifts on rotational basis, overtime and standby as and when required.
