KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Perform Electrical / Mechanical maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Maintenance, Fault finding & Repairs on PLC, Motors, Hoists, Conveyors (floor & overhead), DB’s, Lights, Fans, Spray systems, Lifters, rollers, ovens, hangers (carriers), pumps, paint systems, pneumatics, hydraulics & all plant facility equipment.
  • Servicing & repairs of Paint equipment, Pneumatic Pumps & Motors,
  • Participation in machine & facility upgrade projects
  • Perform legal compliance checks. Maintain quality standards & work in accordance with ISO standards.
  • TPM’s & RCA on all plant facility
  • Attend to equipment breakdowns.
  • Production support
  • Implementation of Kaizens and Cost reductions
  • Standby responsibility, start-up and switch off responsibility, and weekend duty.
  • Quality problem investigation and countermeasure
  • MTTR and MTBF improvement
  • Quality circle’s participation
  • Squad Kaizens

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • N3 + Trade tested, (MILLWRIGHT).
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years post apprenticeship experience in manufacturing environment (preferable).
  • Experience in pneumatics, electro-pneumatics & hydraulics
  • PLC’s and Robotics experience would be an advantage
  • Must be prepared to work both day & night shifts on rotational basis, overtime and standby as and when required.
