The main purpose of the position is to coordinate & monitor the parts packaging and label specifications for New, Current and Past models with all relevant local Suppliers.
DURATION
- 12 Months contract
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Manage packaging development with local supplier before new model launch timing.
- Ensure Service Parts Packaging is compliant to SOC requirements.
- Management of QPR’s raised by Export Affiliates and reporting on outstanding issues to ensure 100% good quality status.
- Manage NMP activities on Supplier Portal.
- Liaise with local suppliers to action their activities for parts preparations before new models launch date, including Supplier visits for Trial parts inspection.
- Ensure Supplier aligns to PPM Requirement & monitor monthly KPI’s.
- Conduct Packaging Kaizen activities with Packaging Suppliers.
- Validate packaging cost submitted by suppliers in line with packaging material.
- Manage IMV X Project on SPPS and Label Spec
- Manage Label Supplier to delivery within the require lead times.
- Manage New Packaging Supplier to ensure smooth supply to our component suppliers.
- Re-label non confirming labels at the warehouse to assist with GRV.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- NQF Level 5: (240 credits on level 8 framework) Supply Chain Management or Quality/Engineering related.
- Minimum 2 years working experience, working in a team and influencing others
- Project Management experience
- Automotive industry experience would be an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
- PC Literacy (MS Office Packages) Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- MRP system application experience
- Driver’s Licence (Essential).
- Ability & willingness to travel nationally (Essential).
