The main purpose of the position is to coordinate & monitor the parts packaging and label specifications for New, Current and Past models with all relevant local Suppliers.

 

DURATION

  • 12 Months contract

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Manage packaging development with local supplier before new model launch timing.
  • Ensure Service Parts Packaging is compliant to SOC requirements.
  • Management of QPR’s raised by Export Affiliates and reporting on outstanding issues to ensure 100% good quality status.
  • Manage NMP activities on Supplier Portal.
  • Liaise with local suppliers to action their activities for parts preparations before new models launch date, including Supplier visits for Trial parts inspection.
  • Ensure Supplier aligns to PPM Requirement & monitor monthly KPI’s.
  • Conduct Packaging Kaizen activities with Packaging Suppliers.
  • Validate packaging cost submitted by suppliers in line with packaging material.
  • Manage IMV X Project on SPPS and Label Spec
  • Manage Label Supplier to delivery within the require lead times.
  • Manage New Packaging Supplier to ensure smooth supply to our component suppliers.
  • Re-label non confirming labels at the warehouse to assist with GRV.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • NQF Level 5: (240 credits on level 8 framework) Supply Chain Management or Quality/Engineering related.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience, working in a team and influencing others
  • Project Management experience
  • Automotive industry experience would be an advantage
  • Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
  • PC Literacy (MS Office Packages) Excel, Word & Powerpoint
  • MRP system application experience
  • Driver’s Licence (Essential).
  • Ability & willingness to travel nationally (Essential).
