Contractor Logistics Planning Engineer [FTC]
A vacancy exists within the New Model Projects and Master data Area to work on the Service Parts Prep Project and is based at the New Parts Distribution Centre in Atlas Road. This position reports to the NMP & Master data Senior Manager/Manager and will focus on NMP Service Parts Prep Activities.

- 24 months Contract
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Data Analysis and Data interpretation
- Ability to manage and execute a project successfully/Project planning
- Audit existing SOPs with a view to continuously improve efficiencies.
- Development of functional specifications to support improvement ideas.
- Create presentation and reports to communicate project status.
- Data Collection, Analysis, and Visualisation.
- Investigating processes, procedures, and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness of supplier.
- Ability to manage suppliers.
- Effectively drive continuous improvement projects using Engineering principles.
- Working on various deliverables simultaneously.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- NQF level 6 (360 credits on level 8 framework) – Industrial Engineering/Data Engineering or related
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Management / Data Analysis.
- SAP and BI-reporting knowledge is an advantage.
- Microsoft Power BI reporting background
- Microsoft office and big data tools
- Data set up and analytics knowledge (data processing, develop reports and analysis, training end users)
- Must be able to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work with various stakeholders
