KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Ensure compliance of TSAM-EMS against ISO14001 EMS Standard
- Manage Environmental Section of TSAM SHE&F Sharepoint site
- Develop/ Establish new environmentally related Management Systems as required in conjunction with relevant PIC (E.g. ISO50001 Energy Management System)
- Coordinate internal and external EMS Audits
- Support ECO Patrol Audits as required
- Monitor Significant Environmental Process Area Management compliance
- Legal compliance and OSHMS audits
- Training (EMS, SAFETY)
- Performance Reporting (ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY)
- OSHMS implementation & maintenance
- Promote and guide on safety culture establishment & improvement.
- Contractor safety
- Incident Prevention
- Risk Assessment & Risk Reduction
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- NQF 7 in environmental sciences or engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management, and H&S
- Management in supervisory capacity (essential).
- Sound understanding of environmental legal requirements and developments.
- Sound understanding of OHS Act & regulations
- Thorough understanding and hands on implementation and auditing experience on ISO 14001 and Environmental Management Systems in a corporate environment.
- Experience in people and project management.
- Sound computer skills, particularly Microsoft packages.
