KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Ensure compliance of TSAM-EMS against ISO14001 EMS Standard
  • Manage Environmental Section of TSAM SHE&F Sharepoint site
  • Develop/ Establish new environmentally related Management Systems as required in conjunction with relevant PIC (E.g. ISO50001 Energy Management System)
  • Coordinate internal and external EMS Audits
  • Support ECO Patrol Audits as required
  • Monitor Significant Environmental Process Area Management compliance
  • Legal compliance and OSHMS audits
  • Training (EMS, SAFETY)
  • Performance Reporting (ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY)
  • OSHMS implementation & maintenance
  • Promote and guide on safety culture establishment & improvement.
  • Contractor safety
  • Incident Prevention
  • Risk Assessment & Risk Reduction

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • NQF 7 in environmental sciences or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management, and H&S
  • Management in supervisory capacity (essential).
  • Sound understanding of environmental legal requirements and developments.
  • Sound understanding of OHS Act & regulations
  • Thorough understanding and hands on implementation and auditing experience on ISO 14001 and Environmental Management Systems in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in people and project management.
  • Sound computer skills, particularly Microsoft packages.
